Receive a cordial greeting. This year we celebrate 50 years of experience where we have faced great challenges. For which reason we begin a new year of challenges and changes where this Association is committed to bringing its members the necessary information to carry out the work as established by regulation.
The name of this organization isASSOCIATION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATORS OF PUERTO RICO. In English it will be known as"PUERTO RICO ASSOCIATION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATORS" and by its acronym in English asPRASFAA.

Currently the Association offers workshops in spring and autumn to our members. We coordinate a workshop for president of public and private institutions. In addition, we celebrate our annual Convention on the second Thursday and Friday of December for all members. The PRASFAA board of directors and its committees coordinate and present the changes in the Federal Regulation taking into account our population and adjusting them to the laws that apply to us. We manage the official recognition of the PRASFAA Association before the pertinent authorities including the Board of Post-Secondary Institutions (JIP) of Puerto Rico.

We maintain communication between the members of the PRASFAA Association with the regional Association known as EASFAA and with the national Association recognized by its acronym NASFAA. This gives our partners the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the areas they work in and clarify possible doubts related to the way in which Puerto Rico is impacted by changes in regulations.

In addition, information bulletins are constantly sent in Spanish to facilitate the interpretation of these. We look forward to seeing you at our 2023 Convention which will take place at the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort on December 7 and 8, 2023.
