2025-2026 Federal Pell Grant Maximum and Minimum Award Amounts (Updated May 29, 2025).

Update on May 29, 2025: Per the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025 (P.L. 119-4), the Federal Pell Grant maximum and minimum award amounts for the 2025-2026 award year provided in this Dear Colleague Letter are correct and will be effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

The maximum Pell Grant award remains fixed at $7,395.

The minimum Pell Grant award amount is $740.
